Cockatiel, Nymphicus hollandicus is a species of parrot in the Cacatuidae family. It is found in Australia, but is a popular pet worldwide.

Other names


It is a medium-sized, slim bird with a long, strongly graduated tail. The wings are long and pointed and the wings are long and the bill is small and narrow.[2]
