Food

Food is a term related to things that are consumed by living organisms. Various living creatures all have specialized diets from the various food they are able to consume.

Food can range from plants that are consumed by herbivorous animals to even various animals themselves that are consumed by carnivorous animals. Omnivores are animals that can consume both plant and meat matter in a balanced diet.

As a result, food leads to the system in all ecosystems known as the "Food Chain".
